Technical Solutions Engineer

GiveIndia has a great opportunity for a "Technical Solutions Engineer", reporting to our CTO. This is a chance to use technology to create significant change and impact the lives of millions of poor people every year. You will work with a lot of operating freedom and responsibility at an early stage in your career. The candidate will take technical responsibility for the GiveIndia.org website and work alongside the dev team to ensure that-

All our code is architected with high levels of object orientation

Senior Software Developer

Position Title : Senior Software Developer

Mission of the Role :
Candidate will work as a Developer and report either to the Technical Lead or the Head of technology/CTO. Candidate will work in tandem with CTO and Technical Lead to translate product vision into a product that adds immense value to customers (merchants) as well as end users.

Responsibilites & KPIS
Complete management and control of our website, www.giveindia.org, a leading website in the non-profit sector (NGO) in India and all the supporting modules.
Understanding business requirements and translating into functional specifications for development by the technology team.
Imparting training on core modules to business people.
Development of new features, applications, widgets, integration of social media etc.
Assisting internal teams and donors in having a "super" experience with the website.
Perform key operational roles for various business units helping them in their activities.
o Coordinating with teams for creating marketing collaterals and communication.
Manage Google Analytics account .
o Create events, Set Goals and Create proper funnels.

Functionl Competencies needed & Technical skills

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a practical knowledge of programming and strong understanding and appreciation of the software development process. An excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to grasp things fast.
Good ASP.NET, Web Services, XML, XSLT and SQL knowledge.
Experience with jQuery or similar technologies
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.

Manager - Marketing Analytics

Position Title : Manager- Marketing Analytics

Department : Online Retail Giving

Working Location : Mumbai

Mission of the Role :
We are looking for an analyst who is very strong with data, to drive our digital marketing strategies. The right candidate will be able to source and process large volumes of data to create deep consumer insights that will inform our product, UI/UX and communication strategies.

Responsibilites & KPIS
Systematically analyze donor giving behaviour using donation data in SQL and Salesforce CRM tools, to draw insights into people’s giving preferences
Create user profiles, identify important pieces of data to collect (e.g., choices of cause, geography, emotional or rational giving orientation, etc.) about donors, create and deploy fun/engaging ways to collect the information
Mine user behaviour data from Google Analytics, Web Engagement tools, social media and other sources.
Source data from secondary research, market surveys (qualitative and quantitative), academic institutions in India and internationally and draw comparisons with our experience
Use the insights drawn to create and test hypothesis on various elements of marketing strategy- product design, UI/UX design as well as communication, the right kind of alliances to seek and create.
Work closely with the digital marketing & communications team, payroll giving team and alliances teams to optimize donor experiences and donor acquisition strategies.

Requirements
VERY strong with numbers, analytical thinking and problem solving skills

Feedback Manager - Credibility Assurance Team

GiveIndia is looking for a young person (22-28 years) who can manage our feedback process. For every donation made on our platform, we send the donor a feedback report with details of how it impacted someone's life, along with some financial information and beneficiary data. We work with 200+ NGOs spread across 21 states and process close to a lakh donations every year. That means we have close to one lakh feedback reports that are sent to donors! We are looking for someone with excellent communication and managerial skills who will be able to drive the feedback process end to end. In doing so, there is an opportunity to improve engagement with donors through higher quality content. In terms of the role the person will need to,

1.Build a rapport with NGOs through regular interactions
2.Rigorously follow up to ensure timely submission of feedback reports, and track the same
3.Understand the NGOs' programmes; work with their staff to write engaging stories on a need basis
4.Occasionally visit NGOs, take pictures and create videos of the NGOs' work & beneficiaries, leaders, etc. and blog about them.
5.Learn new Indian languages :-) and pick up a lot of skills

The ideal candidate should have

Relationship Manager - Credibility Assurance Team
