Every monthly donation helps patients like Ramesh get their life back
Ramesh (41), works as a laborer and is the sole bread-earner of a family of eight. He had work accident in his right eye and within days started to experience dimness of vision. With constant pain in the eyes and near blindness, he lost his ability to work. He was in utter despair and had no way to support his family.
Through a Community Outreach Program by Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), he was diagnosed with a cataract. Considering his age the doctors recommended a phaco surgery, which is quicker and restores quality vision. The doctors performed a phaco surgery on his right eye. As no sutures are needed in this surgery, his visual rehabilitation was extremely fast. He resumed work soon after.
He is grateful for the free quality treatment that gave him his life back.

In a phaco surgery, no sutures are needed and visual rehabilitation was is faster than regular surgery. Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH) conducts Community Outreach Programs in underserved areas of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.
The program conducts free eye camps and surgeries for poor patients suffering from cataracts. By supporting this program you can help a poor patient get free phaco-surgery and reclaim his livelihood.
