Your donation can help an adult lead a meaningful life
Deepak joined Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayta Samiti to improve his development skills. Before joining this special school in 1998, Deepak was not sure about his future and was spending his days idle at home.
In MPVSS, he underwent a special skill development training in self care, social behavior, functional academics, prevocational, recreational areas followed by vocational skills. Slowly, he improved a lot and became independent in dealing with people. During his training, he also developed an interest in sports and participated as a member of the Indian Basketball Team for the International Special Olympics in Athens, Greece in 2011 and had won the gold medal for the country. In 2003, he joined the school as a full time supporting staff to help other children learn better.
Currently there are 75 poor children and adults with special abilities in MPVSS. Your donation can help a youngster like Deepak lead a meaningful life. **You can donate with confidence because every program on our platform is GIVEASSURED.

About The Program
What the beneficiary gets
Madhya Pradesh Vikalang Sahayta Samiti provides special education to developmentally disabled children and adults. It serves the individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation and multiple other disabilities. They aim to make individuals with such special abilities be more acceptable in the society by training them in basic skills.
These are the most neglected group in society, who are often not enrolled in regular schools because they have different educational needs. Hence, the organization started a special school for these children.
The special education is based on repeated practical exposure using special education techniques, special educational material in special classes by special educators. Students learn self-care, social adaptive behaviour, functional academics and pre- vocational and recreational skills. This prepares the ground for their vocational training in the future to make them independent. This programme includes support to many poor children and adults with special abilities, who are cross-subsidized by beneficiaries who can afford to pay
