 | Twestival 2011 | Twestival Local is an annual event that encourages local groups of Twitter users to host events in aid of their favorite charities. GiveIndia is proud to be the official charity partner for Twestival Local 2011. ( Learn more about Twestival ) As partners, we will be offering a matching grant to NGOs of Twestival India cities. The matching grant will be provided (upto the limit mentioned below) to NGOs of the top-3 cities in the following 2 categories:

The first two of which were won by Hyderabad - a prize of Rs. 10,000 for being the first city to raise Rs. 10,000! And Rs. 5,000 for being the first city to raise funds from 50 unique donors. Do remember that a city may win a matching grant in both categories. So, all you Tweeters out there, do spread the word and get maximum support for your favourite charity :-)
