GiveIndia wins IAMAI Award !

IAMAI Trophy GiveIndia's flagship online fundraiser challenge, India Giving Challenge won the IAMAI Award for Best use of Internet in Social and Economic Development.

India Giving Challenge has been in the run for four years now. From raising 91 lacs in the first year to raising over Rs. 4 crores from 34 corporate and 100+ NGO participants in the fourth year, the campaign has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. We thank all our corporate and NGO participants for contributing towards this achievement :-).

The findings provide the first empirical evidence that "the warm glow" of spending on someone else rather than on oneself may be a widespread component of human psychology, the researchers reported in the study published in the journal of American Psychological Association..
