NGOs install fun atPrudentialand Viacom offices

dharavi-slumLastmonth, wehelped organizeNGOStall events for two of our Payroll Giving partners - PrudentialProcess Management Services and Viacom 18.

While Viacommarked its community day with a range of engagement activities,Prudential employees celebrated Mother's Day by buying cards and mugsfrom the stall set up by the Akanksha Foundation. The stalls by NGOsnot only helped NGOs sell their products but also provided employeeswith an opportunity to know more the NGOs – their work, theirchallenges and their impact on society - thus raising levels of socialawareness and responsibility. Needless to say, employees had a gala time

Tour de India 2012

OurPayrollGivingprogramme has been in implementation from the year 2004 and by now wehave had over 1,08,000 employees sign up for the programme. Even thoughwe realized this just some time back, we couldn't stop ourselves fromcelebrating this milestone achievement :-)

Lastmonth, we facilitated our one lac-th payroll giver - Ms. PriyaChatterjee - from Infoedge, Delhi. Our CEO Mr. Dhaval Udanipersonally visited the Infoedge office to recognize both the donor andthe organization.  We also awarded Priyawith Rs.10,000 as matching contribution from GiveIndia as atoken of our recognition. When asked about what  prompted herto join Payroll Giving, Priya said, "Allmy friends were giving already and I was looking for opportunities todo something for the society but was not getting time. Participating inthe Payroll Giving programme makes me feel better about myself and myorganization."
