He is a winner of the 14th Godfrey Philips Bravery Awards for his work on road safety. We learn about giving culture in the organization.
Increase Employee Participation: MakeMyTrip way
mmt-driveWant to increase employee participation in your Payroll Giving Programme? One option is to do it the MakeMyTrip way!

We get to you a report of activities/initiatives at MakeMyTrip where the employee participation shot up to 33% from 9% in just one week..!

It has been 10 years since the Payroll Giving Programme began and over this time we have gained lot of insights into what works best in different situations. As per Mr. Dhaval Udani, CEO GiveIndia, “Employee participation in MakeMyTrip has rocketed majorly because of two reasons. The most important being HR/CSR support driven by CEO involvement in increasing the employee participation through various initiatives. And the other major reason is desk-to-desk drives.” deep-kalra

There was tremendous support and motivation from the top management to build a giving culture in the organization and for GiveIndia drive. In words of Mr. Deep Kalra,Group CEO and Founder, “We strongly believe in instilling a giving culture at MakeMyTrip. I was heartened to see great enthusiasm and synergy between GiveIndia and our CSR team which led to a threefold increase in our giver’s club."

The team at MakeMyTrip was very enthusiastic about making the drive successful and tried out various methods to get more people on to the giving brigade. Mr. Gurpreet Bajaj, Head – Talent Development and CSR at MakeMyTrip, personally spoke to various team leaders informing and motivating them about the programme. He also shared the feedback report received from GiveIndia after making a donation with other colleagues thus telling them about the credibility of the programme.
