India Giving Challenge attracts a lot of press coverage

The fourth edition of India's largest and only online fundraising event - the India Giving Challenge - came to an end. While we're still processing last minute donations, we're happy to share with you that the event has touched a new landmark of Rs. 3.85 crores being donated by 13,881 donors. This has attracted a fair amount of appreciation and coverage from the media. Do see the coverage received in the The Times of India and DNA below. We would also like to thanks all NGOs, corporates and donors who participated in the event to make it reach this new landmark :-)!

Did you know we conduct surprise checks on our NGOs?

Feedback verification One of the ways we have been ensuring that your donation is used correctly is by sending you a feedback report for your donation. This report is first sent to us by NGOs, then checked by us before we send the same across to you. We have now also begun conducting verification visits on these feedback reports themselves. To ensure the authenticity of a feedback report, we conduct random physical visits to the beneficiaries mentioned to ensure that (s)he has truly received the benefits outlined in the report.

These surprise visits are called Feedback Verification Visits and are crucial in ensuring the credibility of our NGOs.
