We received these encouraging words from Mr. K M Rao, a payroll giver from leading consumer products company Marico
“Thank you very much for the feedback on the utilisaton of my modest donation through an institution like yours. It gives me immense satisfaction that there are NGOs / institutions like yours that have taken upon the responsibility of making the living conditions of our society, especially the underprivileged children, more livable.
I would like to make a sincere appeal to people from all sections of our society, especially the affluent, to come forward and assist GiveIndia in whatever manner possible and make the lives of the downtrodden and under privileged more meaningful.”
If you are a Payroll Giver, you too can donate your account balance and change a life. |
We believe our donors are heroes. After all, it is thanks to their generosity that NGOs are able to reach out and change lives. So, we’re going to be honoring these heroes through a new feature on our website — the Donor Hall of Fame.
The proposed categories for the Hall of Fame are - donor, fundraiser, payroll giver and US donor. If you would like to be considered for this Hall of Fame, please update your profile by selecting 'Yes' to the field 'Donor Hall of Fame.' Results will be computed and announced every month. |

GiveIndia essay contest for children |
The GiveIndia Bay Area chapter, a group of enthusiastic GiveIndians living in the Bay area of California, have organised an essay writing contest for children. The aim of the contest is to open an avenue for our kids to express the values of compassion, empathy, love and to nurture a ‘Culture of Giving & Helping’.
While the contest organisers are in the US, the contest is open to children everywhere, so parents please inspire and encourage your kids to participate.
The deadline for entries is October 31, 2008. view essay topics and more details |
