| Winners of India Giving Challenge 2011 |
In our previous edition we had updated you that on October 20th our online fundraising event - India Giving Challenge 2011 came to an end and here we are presenting you the winners of the Challenge. We are happy to share with you that a total of over Rs. 3.06 crores was raised from 9,000+ donors. A big thank you to all of you who donated. Here's a glimpse into the winners. The top 3 NGOs to raise the most amount of funds were - NGO 1 - Teach For India NGO 2 - Parivaar Education Society NGO 3 - Apna Jankalyan Among the corporate participants, Genpact emerged as the champion this year too followed by HDFC Bank and Firstsource. Overall, matching grants of Rs. 95 lacswere won by participating organisations.
