How to Get Listed on GiveIndia

Home »  About Us » What We Do »  Listing an NGO » How to get listed on GiveIndia

GiveIndia's listing process is entirely objective and criteria driven. We share upfront with you our selection process and criteria. You would know exactly what is needed from your end to meet the criteria. The process itself is automatic in the sense that no individual either at GiveIndia (employees and Board members) or outside GiveIndia has a role to play in this process. If your organization meets all the criteria, it gets listed automatically.

What we do

GiveIndia, our online donation channel, is a unique marketplace that provides donors with a wide choice of "good" NGOs, working in different areas (Child Welfare, Education, Services for the Disabled, etc.). GiveIndia allows donors to make donations for specific purposes, of their choice, to organizations listed on the site. Our site only lists NGOs that are registered and working in India. Please note that GiveIndia does not directly fund projects but serves as an intermediary between the donor community and the NGO community.

What you get

  • The opportunity to raise funds from a large number of individuals, both within India and abroad.

  • A chance to join a group of over 250 select pre-certified NGOs with access to a substantial donor base.

  • Inclusion in all of GiveIndia's fund raising activities, such as Payroll Giving.

  • The ability to showcase a significant amount of information to a wide variety of donors.

  • GiveIndia recommends you to Corporates, Foundations and High Net worth Individuals for partnerships before seeking out other NGO partners, if required.

  • The opportunity to use iGive, an online fundraising tool, to raise money for a particular cause.

What you pay:

  • We welcome you to explore the possibility of getting your organization listed with GiveIndia. You need to pay Rs. 14000 as a donation to GiveIndia for listing. The listing donation has to be sent to us in two parts Please send us a Mumbai payable cheque or demand draft for Rs. 9000 in favour of GiveIndia along with the soft copies of Stage II forms. The second donation of Rs.5000 must be sent when you sign the MoUs. Please note as this is a donation, do not deduct any tax at source. Every year, you will need to make a donation during the annual renewal process (payable every November). The listing process must be completed within 6 months from the date of submission of GiveIndia listing forms. If the process is not complete within this time we will terminate the process and Rs.9000 will not be refunded.

  • We are now asking individual donors online and offline to pay a donation of 9.1% of the gross amount to GiveIndia, to help defray the operating costs of the website and the related back office processing (receipts, feedbacks, disbursements, accounting, tracking, etc.).

What now?

At the moment, our team is fully engaged in responding to and processing listing requests of various NGOs and also reworking donation options with our existing 280 partner NGOs. Therefore currently we are not accepting any new applications.
