Making Online Donations Safer

Visa And Mastercard imagesThe Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has mandated that from 1st August 2009 all online credit card transactions require an extra level of verification. This 'extra' level (called VBV - Verified by Visa or MSC - MasterCard Secure Code) is a password that you will need to enter after entering your credit/debit card details while transacting online.

To get this password, all you need to do is log on to your bank’s website and register your card for VBV/MSC. Each bank has its own process for card registration - so, hop on to your bank’s website and register today.
