    1. Individuals, corporates and NGOs can set up any number of iGive pages. All iGive pages should be setup under the “India Giving Challenge” event.

    2. Corporates must register their iGive pages with GiveIndia within 5 days of setting up the same so that GiveIndia can track the money collected on such iGive pages and credit the corporate with the same. GiveIndia will maintain a running list of corporate pages.

    3. Corporates are encouraged to provide a team leader contact to the GiveIndia team for dissemination of any information. GiveIndia will take instructions regarding corporate pages only from team leaders.

    4. While it is not compulsory for an NGO to have a corporate raising money on its behalf, we encourage it to try and engage a corporate and/or highly motivated individuals to ensure they can raise the maximum amount of money through this event.

    5. The Challenge ends at midnight on October 11, 2009, IST. All iGive pages created for the event will automatically expire after this time. You will not be able to make a donation after this time. Please ensure that all your donations are made well in advance of this date. Ensure that cheques if any are sent to us well before the last date so that they can be credited and the amount reflects in your overall funds collected. Only cheques made against online transactions will be considered. Cheques without corresponding online transactions will not be considered as part of the overall funds raised.

    6. For determining the winners of the matching grant, only money raised online on the iGive pages set up under “India Giving Challenge” from Sep 1st – Oct 11th 2009 will be considered.

    7. We will notify the overall winners by October 22, 2009. All funds credited in our accounts till Oct 20th will be considered for determining the winner. The funds of the India Giving Challenge will be disbursed to the respective NGOs by Nov 15th. The matching funds will be disbursed latest by Dec 15th.

    8. GiveIndia will match on a 1:1 basis the money raised by the top corporates / NGOs and and provide a matching grant for the same (upto a limit). Each corporate / NGO will be eligible for only 1 of the below-mentioned prizes in the order specified:
    a. Top 3 corporates by funds raised - This will encompass all the NGOs for which funds are being raised by the corporate
    b. Top 3 NGOs by funds raised
    c. Top 3 corporates by number of unique donors
    d. Top 3 NGOs by number of unique donors
    eg. If an NGO is eligible for matching grants in both (a) and (b), the NGO will get a prize in (a) only, even if the prize it would have got in (b) may be higher than (a)

    9. Number of unique donors will be counted per NGO / corporate.

    10. In addition we will also have some special prizes which will be announced later so don't lose hope. You could yet be a winner!

    Surprise Prize Week Oct 5th-Oct 11th:

    This week we are giving DAILY matching prizes upto Rs. 1 lakh each day!

    1. The NGO which raises the most amount of money will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 30,000

    2. The second-highest NGO in terms of money raised will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 20,000

    3. The next 5 highest fundraising NGOs will receive 5 matching grants of upto Rs. 10,000 each

    Surprise Prize Week Sep 27th-Oct 3rd:

    This week we are giving DAILY matching prizes upto Rs. 1 lakh each day!

    1. The NGO which raises the most amount of money will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 30,000

    2. The second-highest NGO in terms of money raised will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 20,000

    3. The next 5 highest fundraising NGOs will receive 5 matching grants of upto Rs. 10,000 each


    Surprise Prize Week 21st-26th:
    1. The NGO which raises the most amount of money will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 30,000

    2. The second-highest NGO in terms of money raised will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 20,000

    3. The next 5 highest fundraising NGOs will receive 5 matching grants of upto Rs. 10,000 each

    Surprise Prize Week 14th-20th:
    1. The NGO which raises the most amount of money will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 30,000

    2. The second-highest NGO in terms of money raised will receive a matching grant upto Rs. 20,000

    3. The next 5 highest fundraising NGOs will receive 5 matching grants of upto Rs. 10,000 each

    Surprise Prize Week 7th-13th: Matching grant upto Rs.1 lakh to the NGO(s) of the corporate which raises the most amount of money

    11. No feedback report will be provided for any donation made as part of the India Giving Challenge as is the practice for all iGive pages.

    12. In addition, GiveIndia will provide you with the following support:

    • Promotional material (sample posters, appeal letters, widgets, badges, etc) to create excitement and participation
    • Workshop for your core team on different online fundraising ideas
    • Preparing a daily dashboard showing the top corporates / NGOs
    • Issuing receipts and 80G certificates for every donation
    • Disbursing funds, including matching contributions to the respective charities
    • Recognising every single contribution on our website
