Indigo Live and GiveIndia have partnered for ‘CRY Freedom’ Concert Series, a musical platform dedicated to fighting for freedom for women. With a strong medium like music, they are providing an opportunity to the youth who feels strongly about this cause to unite and make a difference.

The ‘Cry Freedom’ Concert will take place in Mumbai on 9th August and in Delhi on 24th August 2013 at Blue Frog. The event will witness performances by renowned artists like Dualist Inquiry, Sandunes, Ash Roy from Jalebee Cartel, Vasuda Sharma, Jasleen Royal, Sulk Station, Hari and Sukmani, Aditi Mittal and Neeti Palta as they join hands to support the cause.

The Cry Freedom initiative is aimed at creating awareness and public support for social causes that affect our country and will try to bring about a change by voicing these concerns through a universal medium and the language of the youth - Music.

The Cry Freedom 2013 Concert Series is dedicated to the cause of freedom for women. It will be a one stop gathering for music lovers, independent & open minded citizens that will showcase the best of Electronica & Indie Pop.

Jai Bhujwala, Vice President- Online & Retail Giving, GiveIndia said, "Music, as a medium, reaches out to a wide variety of people and we believe the Cry Freedom Concert Series is a great initiative to address the issue of violence against women.

Through this association, Cry Freedom aims to support 51 women by raising funds for Swadhar IDWC (Institute for development of Women & Children) and CSSAR (Center for Social Security Action & Research), two of the Tier I NGOs listed with us. We believe that this concert series will provide a voice to the cause of freedom for women and help fight abuse against women."
