1
What is a feedback verification visit?
A random physical visit to a beneficiary to determine that (s)he recieved the benefits outlined in the feedback report.

2
Why do we do it?
An additional mechanism to ensure that your money has been spent for the purpose you donated.

3
How do we do it?
Donations are selected at random and passed onto volunteers who visit the beneficiary and validate that they have actually received the benefits. To participate in this programme, write to feedback@giveindia.org
4
How do you choose which NGO or donation to verify?
We aim to verify every single NGO which has received funds and pick a donation at random to keep the process completely transparent.

5
What is the outcome of these visits?
Volunteers fill up a Feedback Verification Report. If the beneficiary has not received benefits as stated, we will conduct another visit and if that also fails we will delist the NGO. Volunteers also write about their experiences of the visit which in most cases is their first visit to an NGO
