Donor Survey

With the financial year end looming closer, it's an apt time for you to save on your taxes and what better way to do so than through charity.

As per our income tax act the amount you donate to an NGO is deductible from your taxable income and offers you a benefit of either 50%(u/s 80G) or 100%(u/s 35AC).

GiveIndia offers you the flexibility to choose not only the NGO but also the cause you believe in. All NGOs on GiveIndia have been screened for transparency and credibility. We send you an immediate tax receipt; as well as a feedback report (4-6 months later) for your donation to these NGOs.

Feed two children by providing for just one!
India Giving Challenge That's right! Just feed one child for a year at The Akshaya Patra Foundation and we'll feed another. All thanks to a donor ( who wishes to remain anonymous) who will be matching all donations made to the organisation, on GiveIndia, between today and the 20th of March.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation provides mid-day meals to over 1 million underprivileged children on a daily basis. Their mission is to challenge hunger and lack of education among this vulnerable section of the society.

Careers with GiveIndia

Would you donate if you knew that your donation could help an NGO get additional funds? Or if you knew that your donation would have more of an impact than it otherwise does?

We're pretty sure your answer is a yes. Which is why you should wait no more in supporting one of the many NGOs participating in The India Tax Saving Challenge – an online fundraising events that rewards NGOs raising the most funds, with additional funds.

Last year, over 1,000 people came together to donate over Rs. 53 lacs, helping NGOs win Rs. 35 lacs worth of additional funds. This year too, there are alot of additional funds to be won.

There’s clearly no better time to make a donation. Don’t forget, you get tax benefits for your donation too! The event takes place between today and March 22nd, 2012.
