Twice as Nice: Change a life and save on your taxes!

It's that time of the year when most of us are in a scramble, collecting statements and bills to ensure that we keep our income tax as low as possible. There is no escaping taxation but making a donation is a wonderful way that can help someone in need while you help yourself too.

Make an 80G donation and receive an immediate tax certificate, making you eligible for a 50% tax benefit. Otherwise avail of a 100% tax benefit by making a 35AC donation*.

Visit our donation search page and select 35AC or 80G in the Tax Benefit field.

*On making a 35AC donation, you will receive a receipt directly from the NGO you donated to. This procedure may take upto 60 days.
Donor Speak
Calling all Payroll Givers — donate your Account Balances today and get a receipt for tax deduction.

Mr Narayan N, a Payroll Giver from KPMG, had this to say about GiveIndia:

“It was a great experience to read my feedback report and greater to know that the humble donation that I could make through GiveIndia could provide a meal to 40 needy children. It is heartening to see that the purpose for which I donated a small amount has really been utilised with utmost sincerity and dedication.”
Our new tie-up with Cross Tab
Cross-Tab, a market research technology company, has partnered with GiveIndia to raise funds via a mobile research panel and contribute to a social cause. As people participate in their mobile research panel, Cross-Tabs will as a token of appreciation, donate to GiveIndia-listed NGOs. So the next time you participate in one of their surveys, you know you would have made a difference to an underprivileged person's life too!

Payroll Giving Updates
The response from Patni employees to the Payroll Giving programme has been great with over 55% of employees signing up to contribute. Over 1,500 employees are now on the programme, with the roll-out still under progress. Our thanks to Sheeja, Dinpuii and all the co-ordinators.

An enrolment drive is just complete at Genpact, Hyderabad office. Over 800 employees have enrolled on the programme, in another show of generous response from employees.

 Latest from NGO Listing
Each of our certified NGOs undergoes a renewal process annually in November. This process, which takes about 2 months, entails submission of the NGO's latest documents - annual report, audited statements, Income Tax returns and GiveIndia's renewal forms; helping us to verify that these NGOs continue to remain accountable and credible. The process for this year is now complete.

NGO information – financial, governance and contact details has been updated on the website. 3 NGOs, who were unable to complete their annual renewal process, have been delisted from the website.
