CEO letter to Employees - India Giving Challenge - A Joy of Giving Week event

Dear [name of employee],

Can you imagine a world without poverty, preventable diseases, child labour and illiteracy? Well, I can and I believe that it is up to us to make it happen.

Which is why I feel it is important for [Name of Company] to participate in the country's first India Giving Challenge.

The India Giving Challenge is a competition to see which company can raise the most funds for their chosen NGO. The competition will run from September 6 – October 20 and will be part of the larger Joy of Giving Week. The competition will play out online through fundraising pages (known as iGive) set up on the GiveIndia website.

The event will be a great way for all of us to come together and show our community spirit and I trust each of you will do your best to support the cause.

The first thing we need your help with is deciding which NGO we should raise funds for. The choices are:

A. [name of NGO + description of work they do]

B.

C.

So, please reply to this mail with your choice of NGO no later than [date].

After we choose the NGO, we’ll set up an iGive page and tell you the next steps we need to take to win this competition.

In case you’d like to volunteer to help make the event a success at [Name of Company], please contact [name of organizer]

Thank you for your support,
