Woodland MTV Ecolution: Thank you for planting over 42,000 trees |
|
In our previous newsletters, we informed you that we had been selected as the official charity partners for MTV and Woodland's Ecolution - a digital CSR initiative to develop an eco-conscience in people. The concept was pretty simple - for every tree planted online,Woodland & MTV would plant one on the ground.
We're happy to share with you that the response has been pretty overwhelming. Over 42,000 trees have been planted online. Beginning July 2011, Woodland & MTV in association with GiveIndia listed NGOs NARAD, SAHARA and Seva Mandir will plant the trees on the ground.
