Bal Sangopan - Nutritional and Educational Material support to 150 slum children - Pune, Maharashtra

This project will support 150 poor girls & boys from the slums of Pune & Pimpri- Chinchwad area. These children will be provided with food, clothing, and foot wear etc and basic toiletries for their daily needs. They will also be given educational materials (note books, geometrical box, colour box, tiffin box, etc). This will enable them to continue their education and keep them away from child labour.

There are many poor families with three or more children and low incomes in Pune city. As per NGOs survey, a lot of construction workers are migrating to Pune due to huge construction works in progress, thus adding to the pool of poor large families. The children from these families are deprived of basic essentials in life as food, clothing, education, etc. as their parents cant afford the same.
