Construction of school-building with hostel and intervention-centre - , Bihar

Construction of a residential centre for formal education , medical intervention and technical /vocational training for 500 poor  children with seeing, hearing, locomotor and mental impairments. The children belong to rural and tribal areas of Bihar, eastern UP and Jharkhand

Physically-challenged people have specific needs which are totally ignored by their families and society where they live. Consequently, they are not accepted in the society and remain dependent on others through out their lives. Proper counselling of parents and appropriate development plan is thus required for each beneficiary according to his/her ability to address his/her special needs. This fully equipped residential centre with special education, medical intervention-services, rehabilitation and training facilities will address this need and will assist challenged children become selfsufficiant and productive members of the society .
