Orphan Care and Rehabilitation - Orissa

This project will provide better living conditions to around 50 orphans/destitute children in the age group of 0-18 years. The project will aim to fulfill recurring expenses of food, health care, clothing and education which the orphanages are struggling to meet. Job oriented vocational training which is of utmost importance for the complete rehabilitation of the children will be provided. Recreation , self esteem/ personality development, relationships, spoken English, etc. will also be addressed.

Many orphanages are struggling to meet the recurring cost of food, health care, clothing and education. Vocational training opportunities are still centred around obsolete skills such as lathe-machine/ Fitter, etc. Job oriented vocational training which is of utmost importance for the complete rehabilitation of the children is not given adequate priority in the programmes. Recreation , self esteem/personality development, relationships, spoken English, etc. receive little attention if at all.
