Construction of Home for vulnerable children - Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu

The project is for construction of a childrens home in Srivilliputhur to serve 126 vulnerable children aged between 6 and 18, who are semi/fully orphaned, from Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli and Theni Districts of Tamilnadu.

The NGO runs a Childrens Home in a temporary thatched Shed. 126 semi/fully orphaned vulnerable children in the age group 6 and 18 are accomodated. They are children of migrant labourers. The thatched shed requires periodical maintenance and change once in a year which is so expensive. Presently it is in a very bad condition and it leaks when it rains.
