Education as a Means to Quality Life for Deafblind Children in India - All India

This project aims towards providing quality education and life skill training to 250 deafblind children in various parts of India so that they live a life of dignity and self reliance

Deafblindness is a unique disability – a combination of varying degrees of vision and hearing impairment. So little is known about deafblindness, in our country that children are referred from deaf schools to blind schools and vice versa, none of which have the expertise to cater to their specific needs. It is estimated that there are 450,000 deafblind people in India.
