Rehabilitation for HIV/AIDS affected disabled children - Dindigul, Tamil Nadu

This project will give rehabilitation to 100 disabled HIV/AIDS infected / affected children in the 5-blocks of Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, and India.

The problems faced by these children are Stigma and discrimination, school dropout, poverty and malnourishment, sex abuse, mental trauma, lack of extended family acceptance, lack of economic empowerment of mothers, etc.The project focuses attention on these children and to provide institutional support to form 6-day care centres across the prevalent areas.
