Care Centre for Intellectual Disability & Autism - Agartala, Tripura

This project will provide care / training on activities of daily living , education (as per assessment of their degree of impairment) , some extra life skill building training , recreation facility to 25 Children of 6-14 age group with Intellectual Disability(ID) and / or autism in West district of Tripura.

Persons with disabilities in general face several barriers-physical, financial, psychological in leading a life with dignity and independence. Situation is worse in case of persons with developmental disabilities like Mental Retardation and /or Autism. They require intensive training with care & affection. Unfortunately, such a service at present is not available in Tripura even though there is a huge demand & need for it.
