What is the Donor Hall of Fame? The Donor Hall of Fame is GiveIndia's way of appreciating the individuals and companies who work with us to make a difference. While the people who do the actual grassroot level NGO work are heroes, so are the donors who make their work possible through their generosity.
How can I join? Update your profile by selecting 'Yes' in the field 'Donor Hall of Fame' and you will be eligible to participate.
How are the winners selected? Every month, GiveIndia announces winners of the Donor Hall of Fame (on a YTD basis) by using the following scoring mechanism - Awarding points for online donations towards donation options or iGive. Offline donations do not carry any points.

Here's what our Donor Hall of Famers have to say:
G Vaidyanathan: I am basically from India, working in Singapore for the past 10 years. We have a group here that we have named as Focus India Forum. This group consists of like minded individuals who are willing to contribute a small amount every month and reach out to the needy in India. One way is through Give India. Give India was introduced to me by my friend a few years ago. The key reason we donate through give india is the transparency and feedback. We are very happy to have reached the Donor Hall of Fame which i believe is a motivation for us to continue to do more.
Vithal Kamat: I would like to thank GiveIndia.org for giving me the opportunity to give back something to the community. I believe everyone should do their bit towards some noble cause and GiveIndia.org is a good forum for that.
I must appreciate the efforts of GiveIndia personnel for finding time out for such social activities. Keep up the good work guys !!!!
Narendranath Baliga: GiveIndia has been doing a wonderful job in matching the donors with those to whom the assistance is intended. With just a few mouse clicks, we can now make a difference in someone's life. The high efficiency rate (minimum overheads) of GiveIndia ensures that the significant portion of the donation reaches the intended beneficiaries.
It is amazing to realize that with as little as Rs.1000 a child can be educated for a year (includes stationary, uniform, shoes, school bag etc). There is no excuse anymore for not giving back to the society. We all need to realize we have been given enough. We should reach a stage where we have the courage to ask ourselves 'Why I have been given so much?!' There is always someone who would do better with our help. It is easy. Just try!
Best Wishes to GiveIndia and its staff for enabling this great movement.
