Success Story

Nagesh, 25 years, from an economically backward family of Mysore district. Nagesh, 25 years, from an economically backward family of Mysore district. Due to unawareness of health & hygiene, at the age of 8 months old he couldn?t get proper medical attention and was afflicted with polio. He studied up to 9th grade & the family members thought that he could not do anything independently.

The APD team arranged a camp near Nagesh?s village & selected him for Horticulture training. He underwent 10 months training course and learned gardening skills. Apart from this he has gained the knowledge of personal hygiene, cooking and also the knowledge of nutritious food. The organization has assessed and provided him calipers for smooth mobility

After completing the course successfully, APD helped him to get job in a private concern. (Veolie Water India Pvt.Ltd.) as gardener with a monthly salary of Rs.3000/-. He is independently living in Bangalore and also married recently
