She could not walk but only crawl. She would drool, have seizures, bite/cry/laugh and was generally troublesome. She refused to stay indoors. The adoption agency, did not have any facilities to look after a special needs child. The agency had no other option than to keep her in the open, out side the institution.

With the support of CSA, the agency admitted her in to a private specialised institution for the mentally-challenged.

Avantika can now walk. Her seizures have stopped. She does not bite or laugh/cry continuously. Also, the constant salivation has stopped. She socialises with other inmates, and even tries to talk. There is a phenomenol improvement in her mental health/abilities.
