5-year old Suruchi and Suniti are twins, relinquished by their parents near Bhavanipatna in Kalahandi Dist . in Orissa 5-year old Suruchi and Suniti are twins, relinquished by their parents near Bhavanipatna in Kalahandi Dist . in Orissa. They were lanquishing in an adoption agency since they were just a-month old infants. Like most agency children, they were malnourished and had no access to toddler-development facilities. There were no takers for these twin female siblings in Orissa where adoption of female children was not so common.In this case it was even more difficult as siblings could not be separated according to Adoption regulations.

CSA sponsored the health, nutrition and child development needs for both the children. They were also enrolled under our preschool education programme . CSA actively particiapted and helped in finding an adoptive parent for Suruchi and Suniti

Suruchi and Suniti got a family of their own after a wait of 4 years in the agency. Their adoptive mother who is a single parent is well settled and stays with her mother in Mumbai. Suruchi and Suniti are attending a good school in Mumbai and they have learnt to speak both Gujarati and English very well. Both of them love dancing. They are happy children.
