Rag-picker to Design Engineering with NID, Ahmedabad
Sanjay Dineshbhai Parmar, is the son of Dineshbhai Parmar, a delivery man of a local Gas Agency of the town. He was branded as stubborn and with an ambition to live an extra-ordinary lifestyle by becoming a police superintendent. Sanjay was always good at drawing, so much so that if he got a pencil and paper in his hands, he would keep doodling.
Sanjay is one of the kids enrolled at Visamo, a formal K-12 education program, in the first batch in August 2002. Being dyslexic, he was academically a mediocre student. However, he had a natural talent in drawing and designing, more specifically, creating innovative models of cars from waste. The team at Visamo molded his life and gave shape to his dreams during his stay there. They helped him to be a better person, accept reality as well as aim for the stars. His drawing skills improved with appropriate training from Mr. Kaushik Patel.
Recently, the renowned mentor, Mr. Bhanwar Rathore, conceptualized his ideas in professional form. Sanjay has joined National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad by competing with 16,000+ applicants from all across the country.
