Murugan belongs to a very poor family. Murugan belongs to a very poor family. His parents are small scale farmers. But due lack of rain, the region suffers famine. There is thus not much money coming in.So the children are not able to study. Murugan is a clever boy. He did not have decent uniform, proper books and notes.

Rosary Trust went into Murugan?s village and made a survey to find many poor students who were unable to go to school due to poverty. The trust encouraged them to study by helping them with books, notes, fees etc.

Murugan passed out 10th std and went to study ITI for 2 years. Now he is gone to do his apprenticeship in a company where he will work. He has promised to help his family and his brother improve their situation.
