Success Story

It helps in an all round development of each child. It helps in an all round development of each child. Riddhi Gada is severely handicapped due to cerebral palsy. Therapy gave marginal improvement in her physical condition. She had associated perception problems which made learning difficult for her. She was at home and not able function. She was not accepted in a regular school .

Society for the Education of the crippled helped her in the following way: The modified academic program helped her. Structured instructions besides intensive occupational therapy helped her to improve her co-ordination and her grip. Neuro- corrective excercises and the structured progrram helped her read the right way.

Riddhi now has reached the fifth standard in school. She can now study by herself with minimal guidance. Her handwriting has improved (earlier no one could understand what she wrote). She tries to write her papers by herself without the writer?s help. She is able to move easier and this has improved self-confidence and self-image.
