Mihir, who is only 6 year old, was born deaf and blind Mihir, who is only 6 year old, was born deaf and blind. Trapped in his isolated world, he became extremely frustrated. His parents knew that he desperately needed special support, but they didn t know where to go for help

Seeing how urgently they needed help, a week later, Mihir s first life changing assessment was carried out. Instead of just looking at the problems he faced, we looked at his abilities what he could see & hear and how he could use all his senses to communicate and understand the world around him. Mihir was admitted in the primary school

By getting the required help at AKT, Mihir has progressed incredibly. The credit also goes to his special teacher who actively participates in the training programmes. Now Mihir tries to communicate through palm reading and sign language. Amongst his likes and dislikes, he loves eating chocolates and hates it when he is left alone
