Make an Orphan child feel loved & cared for by sponsoring a dress & a pair of footwear, INR 1000

Catalyst for Social Action (CSA) works with government destitute homes/orphanages in Pune and Orissa. Their objective is to bring about overall improvement in terms of child care, health and living standards, and educational standards.

How It Works

• Support is offered to the children through educational institutions, where their needs are identified and formal education is imparted to them.
• Many of the children, particularly those in grades 7 to12 need back up support in the form of tuitions/coaching classes.
• The child could either be sent to a coaching class or could take private tuitions, where the instructor would be paid by CSA.
• In addition, the children require resources such as books, notebooks, guides, etc. All these items fall under the category of ‘supplementary education and educational stationeries.’

Sujit becomes a contributing member of society!
Sujit was only 3 yrs. old when his father died; then when he was 12, his mother too passed away. Sujit reached the orphanage.
