Rebuild the Self confidence and sense of belongingness to occupation
K.Munniyya is 45 years old. He lost his left leg (below knee) due to septic infection 10 years back. He was a rickshaw puller and he lost his income due to loss of leg and since then his family had been struggling for survival.
He approached our organization for Artificial Limb for free of cost. We took the measurements and fabricated the Artificial Limb and distribute free of cost and gave him mobility and orientation training program.
Now he can walk independently and do some small petty business at their native place. His confidence and sense of belongingness markedly increased and he is interested in doing the business for their income generation. He expressed his gratitude to the organization to make him independent.
