Providing Sewing Machine to Disabled People for their Livelihood
Pratikshaben resides in Gomtipur, Ahmedabad, with her family. At the age of 12, she became a victim of polio. There are 4 members in her family. She has completed the one year cutting and tailoring course from BPA ITI. Her husband is also disabled.
We provided a sewing machine to Pratiksha for her livelihood with the help of donor support.
After receiving the sewing machine, Pratiksha started her tailoring business at home. She got orders to stitch dresses from his neighborhood. She became independent and felt very happy as now she is the earning member of the family. She is very proud of her new business.
