Learning centers are private schools run by Sshrishti. At the learning centers, children from economically weaker sections of society especially those belonging to the families of migrant labourers are offered schooling in a creative and joyous atmosphere using modern teaching techniques. Sshrishti runs 4 learning centres. The age group varies from centre to centre, and depends on when the when the child joins the learning centre. For example, there are children of 11-12 years in playgroup class in Ladli learning centre, Jai Hind camp and Bhatti Mines. The children are initially enrolled in Playgroup. After first term evaluation those that are older than average and have covered the syllabus for that level get promoted to the next level that is nursery. After each term exam the children are evaluated and get promoted to the next level, lkg, ukg, then Class 1 and upto Class IV. After Class IV they are mainstreamed in to government schools. The Centre is open 10 months in a year and is closed for summer & winter holidays. They have 4 teachers and 1 volunteer. They have their own bus, which is used for children pickup, and drop (although not all children use this support). Monthly transport cost is 15000 -20000 a month including driver salary and diesel cost. The children are also provided with a mid day meal and facilities for computer aided learning and regular computer class. 1 set of Uniform is provided in the beginning for new kids; for older kids, they are provided during the course of the year. The books are provided in academic year beginning. The costs also include the fee for music and dance teachers who work at Ladli and Mehrauli centres. About 50 children get trained in music and dance. This donation will be utilized for children of Sshrishti Learning Centre.
