Many such children in the slum areas of the city were not attending classes for this reason.

CAF took up the sponsorship of salaries for eight teachers of the upper-primary school.

Sponsoring the schoool teachers substantially reduces the amount a child/parent needs to spend on education. Consequently, many more parents were able to send their children to school and many more children are attending school and classes on a regular, daily basis.
