Success Story

A large no. of BPL patients from far-flung areas of the country especially Bihar and UP suffering from kidney ailments A large no. of BPL patients from far-flung areas of the country especially Bihar and UP suffering from kidney ailments come to AIIMS and stay at Rajgarhea Vishram Sadan-a Dharamshala of AIIMS. The treatment is frightfully expensive and has to be sustained for long periods. Ultimately most patients are financially devastated and give up on treatment unable to bear the expenses,resigning to fate.

SAPNA supports such BPL patients by providing medicines on a sustained basis every month. It mobilises funds through individual sponsors who come forward to join hands for this noble cause. They are also provided weekly rations Dilip Kumar Singh s/o Bateshwar Singh of Hemantpur, P.O. Siwam is a patient being provided medicines on a sustained basis.

Every month SAPNA supports 7 BPL kidney patients.They now live a life of dignity capable of carrying on with their day to day activities. Some have even taken up employment to support themselves. One such patient Dalip Singh has become a volunteer for SAPNA. SAPNA targets to support 10 BPL kidney patients every month.
