Success Story

A number of sick and destitute patients are survivors of serious trauma/illness A number of sick and destitute patients who are survivors of serious trauma/illness at Trauma Centre (AIIMS), and Safdarjung Hospital Dharamshala, New Delhi have no place to return to and are in need of recuperative care and support. Many have been abandoned by their family or are destitute having no one to care or support. There is no place in Delhi where they can seek shelter and long term care.

SAPNA provides a home for long term care for the sick and genuinely destitute. It acts as a feeder for survivors at the Trauma Centre and Safdarjung Hospital Dharamshala in Delhi who have no place to go to. A team of social workers look after their daily needs providing nourishment, clothing, housekeeping, etc. A Dispensary in the premises provides requisite medical care.

SAPNA provides a home for such under-privileged where they feel cared for to live life with dignity. Sindhu, Mange Ram, Pinky, Latif and Yunus are some of the lucky ones who are all unknown and have found a home at Vijay Mandir. They are now a part of the extended family of SAPNA.
