Success Story

One of our teachers, Vishwanath, comes from a poor family and has had many financial issues. One of our teachers, Vishwanath, comes from a poor family and has had many financial issues. He is a long-term teacher at our kids school, and comes to help our first graders with their after-school studies.

We gave Vishwanath a job as an after-school tutor, as he came well recommended and is respected and liked at the school where he works. Vishwanath enjoys teaching our first graders, and is strict yet kind and patient with them. The extra money that he earns also helps with his family’s financial situation, as they struggle. Vishwanath lives with his wife and two children in a small, two-room house near our orphanage.

Vishwanath and our other teachers continue to work with our kids for the entire school year, and all come daily to teach during April and May (school holidays), as they don’t want our kids to forget what they’ve learned in school this year.
