Success Story

Paruli is 4 years old and her parents work in Kashinapur brickfield. Paruli is 4 years old and her parents work in Kashinapur brickfield. Paruli has a little sister who is six months old. Her parents go to work early in the morning when Paruli was used to sleep. They come back at noon and go again in the afternoon. Paruli was alone in the morning and had used to cry throughout the day. She became very nagging, did not want to mix with the other children that forced her mother to take her with them. But the environment of the brick kiln was not healthy for Paruli and she fell sick very quickly.

Our social worker identified Paruli during their field visit and met the family. She was also then expecting another child. We suggested Paruli be dropped in our day care center in the morning which is absolutely free. We also informed that in this center Paruli can get elementary education in play way method, would also receive health support and would get Tiffin every day. Her mother agreed with us and started to send her child in our center.

Now Paruli is a happy child. She learnt alphabets both in Bengali & English, can identify numbers. She learnt Bengali & English rhymes. She is very intelligent and likes to make friends. She is a lovable child and her friends like her.
