Success Story

Shobha was blind since birth. Shobha was blind since birth. She used to sit idle at home while her siblings attended the village school. Everyone had a negative attitude towards her. Being unaware about special education for the blind, her parents were very worried about her future.

Her parents were convinced about Shubham. Shobha was admitted to Shubham & her education started at the age of 5. She was taught Braille, given orientation and mobility training, training of daily living skills, music computers, typing etc.

Shobha is now in school for 5 and half years and her parents are extremely happy. She is performing very well in Grade 5 in the school and is ahead of normal children of her age.
