After the death of her parents, Sowmya stayed at her maternal grandmother in a hut. Her grandmother is a widow who cannot see properly and cannot afford education or care to Sowmya. Her modesty and life is at risk in view of the surroundings and situation.

She was brought to our MANASU girl care centre. She is provided with education, food, stay and medical support.
