Abhinaya, age 5years, daughter of G.Panduranga Reddy of Attapur village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Rangareddy District, Andhra Pradesh was born blind in a poor family Abhinaya, age 5years, daughter of G.Panduranga Reddy of Attapur village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Rangareddy District, Andhra Pradesh was born blind in a poor family. She was idling away her time in her home though her younger brother was going to preschool.

Samrita Trust realized that one way to motivate Abhinaya to go to school and study with other children was if she could learn to read and write in Braille. Samrita Trust donated one Braille kit to Abhinaya for her exclusive use on 18 June 2010, to learn reading and writing in Braille.

After one month of practice with Braille kit, Abhinaya joined the Sree Niketan School, English medium private school in her village. She goes to school with her brother. She is now in Class UKG and is able to read English letters in Braille. Samrita Trust helped many more Abhinayas to realize their dream of school like normal children.
