Sarsawati Devi, 72 years old, who belongs to the most backward locality residing in Sampatchak, Patna Sarsawati Devi, 72 years old, who belongs to the most backward locality residing in Sampatchak, Patna is a burning example of the victims of poverty. With one hand and leg paralyzed, she is blessed with 4 sons namely but all of no use as none of them is even little bit worried for the poor old lady who is physically unable to do any work for earning her livelihood. Perhaps she must be alone and helpless in these days.

When ADD noticed this poor old mother Sarsawati Devi it provided her with one month food rations( 4.5 kg Rice, 6 kg wheat, 2 kg pulses, 1 kg mustard Oil , 1 kg salt) along with 1 egg and 250gm milk every day for a month under nutrition supports . It also made her available clothes (sari, blouse, towel, bed cover and two times medical checkup with medicine support under Support for poor old person programme for a month.

Sarsawati Devi leads a happy life now and is grateful to ADD for saving him from a cursed existence.
