Success Story

The girls of the 50 villages where Bani Mandir is active have no idea of health Education. The girls of the 50 villages where Bani Mandir is active have no idea of health Education. Several attempts were made by the education department to introduce health Education for the girls in primary schools but the plan did not get to perform as several political parties opposed the project. The girls were not capable to get any medical advice also. So they faced severe health problems which were not at all cared by any one.

Bani Mandir with the help of SAHAY started health Education and Medical care Programme at Khordanahala Campus. Dr. Chaiti Das and her team of Social Workers helped the girls to identify their problems.

The Health education Medical Care Camp for the girls helped the village girls so much that even after the closure of the project by SAHAY on 31/03/2009, Bani Mandir was forced to continue the camp by their own but it is not assure to continue the programme.
