Success Story

DCT had been associated with the orphan children since 25 years. DCT had been associated with the orphan children since 25 years. It has been noticed often the children residing at shelter homes are bored due to the monotony of orphanage life. Though they are getting there education and food but they missed their childhood. Whenever we visit the orphanages to interact with the children they rush to us demanding that they want to go for a day out for one full day at least once a year. With the little hearts bursting of anticipation they look into our face for hearing a yes to their appeal.

We DCT family cannot ignore these little ones fervent appeal. We try to arrange a day out programme for our sponsored children at least once a year. Either we took them for a movie show with lunch or we take them to any amusement park (Nicco park or millennium park) where they can enjoy rides and have food. These parks are situated in Kolkata.

Children feel very happy when they are able to come out of the orphanage. It is really hard to put in writing the joy we see in the faces of those little children.
