Success Story

The children came from slum communities . The children came from slum communities and had not had much exposure to fun and play.

The daytrip included fun activities and activities with specific objectives. The objective for this day trip is to help the children work as a team and to make them understand that everyone in the team is responsible for his role and so is a leader in that sense. Leader does not pertain to just the person leading the team.

Thus, in the course of a day, Magic Bus attempts to bring some magic and fun in the lives of the children. These trips are so planned as to bring back an element of fun and adventure, which is so missing, in their lives and yet not take them unrealistically far from their own realities. Magic Bus tries to weave an element of fun, adventure and sports in the hard lives of its children. Ashok (Name changed) from a tribal village near the centre is a polio patiient and so could not walk very fast. His parents told us that after attending the day trip and camp at Magic Bus and interacting with other participants who stay at the village during some of the camps has gained confidence on one hand and has started walking more comfortably.
